Full-Time Training - Testimonies

I always knew that the Full-Time Training in Anaheim would be a profitable place for me. I also knew that I needed the Training. But I did not want to go just because I knew objectively that it would be good for me. I did not want to go just because it seemed like the obvious next step after college. Especially being in Southern California in every semi-annual training, mountain trips, etc. you get infused with the whole issue. I was open but I told the Lord that He needed to give me the desire to go to the Training. He answered my prayer during a conference in 2000. This semi-annual conference was on the crystallization of Matthew. The Lord spoke to me personally through the speaking brothers in every meeting. I saw that as a kingdom person I need to be ruled by the Lord. But I realized that I was mostly ruled by my mind, emotion, will and other things. I had the desire to be ruled by the Lord but I knew that I couldn't without help. This is when I realized that I wanted to go to the Training so that I can be trained to be ruled by the Lord and not by other things. Right away I asked for an application and came to the Training in the Spring of 2001.
